Anti-Israel groups now appear to be targeting the military and government after an initial focus on softer marks such as media websites, which were hit with distributed denial-of-service attacks that sought to flood them with traffic and force them offline, according to Tel Aviv cybersecurity firm Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.“In the last few days we’ve seen a 18% increase in cyberattacks on targets in Israel, compared to the first few days of the war,” Check Point’s Chief of Staff Gil Messing told me, adding between 40 and 50 groups have claimed around 400 attacks against Israeli targets.
